Anniversary Cake.....

This is the first cake I've done that the design focused on gumpaste flowers. I was inspired by Petalsweetcakes incredible flowers and cakes. The cakes were a delicious Vanilla Bean White cake with Vanilla Bean Swiss Meringue Buttercream. Cakes and board were all covered in Satin Ice Chocolate Fondant. I was very happy with how the gumpaste flowers turned out considering that I don't make them on a regular basis. But the effect was so nice I will absolutely do it again. The 35 was thin strips of fondant that I shaped using the quilling technique.
